Martin Walker

Martin Walker is/was/will be:
Editor of ScotsGay Magazine

Martin is a former editor of ScotsGay Magazine.

Martin first penned for ScotsGay in March 1998 as a scene correspondent, but before he reached 30, decided that he was too old for gay bars, and started reviewing arts instead. He has written features, previews, and reviews of shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival since 2001.

He used to write a regular column for bisexuals, until he got fed up of trying to find new ways of stating that biphobia is a bad thing. As far as we know, he is the first openly bisexual person to edit a Scottish publication aimed at the LGBT community.

He is currently busy working on a project with The Luvvies. It's a play called 'This Year's Thing' - based on Scottish LGBT life today. It will be performed during the Fringe in 2009, and will commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots. <> Contact: E-mail: editor@scotsgay.co.uk
